Highland Park
This popular dirt bike riding spot was created by Paul Wright, a fellow riding enthusiast with experience in the motorcycle industry. This combination of passion and experience helped inform the design of the park, making it a rider-first destination.
Over 1,000 acres of riding await dirt bike riders. There are 45 one way trails, including two main perimeter loops that lead back to the parking area. Trails are rated in five levels of difficulty, ensuring that everyone can find something to suit their skill level.
For even more adrenaline rushes, head over to the three full-size natural terrain MXGP tracks. Any kids in the family can try their hand at the PeeWee track, which offers a safe and fun avenue for developing riding skills. Both the MXGP tracks and PeeWee tracks offer viewing spots so that family and friends can cheer riders on.
The park itself is about a one hour drive from Atlanta, making it a great weekend destination. If you want a longer trip, there are tent and RV campsites available. Visitors will need to pay a daily vehicle riding fee or a membership fee.
Durhamtown Off Road Resort
This dirt bike destination spot offers plenty to enjoy. Explore over 150 miles of off road fun! The various trails are designed with different skill levels in mind. Some only allow for dirt bikes, while others accommodate other powersports vehicles, as well. In addition to standard dirt bike trails, there are also fast tracks, a woods course, an obstacle area, and a drag strip.
To visit this area, pick between a daily riding fee or a membership fee. For longer visits, book a reservation at the tent sites, RV sites, cabin rental, or even permanent sites. During your stay, you can enjoy the onsite Southern-inspired restaurant or even go on a hunting trip!
